Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, London, Ongoing Project 2009 Onwards

Strawberry Hill is the UK’s finest example of Gothic Revival architecture. The Grade I listed building was transformed in the 18th Century by the son of Britain’s first Prime Minister, Horace Walpole, who was an avid collector of many things, including stained glass that he used to adorn his mansion.

This is a major project funded by many groups including the Heritage Lottery Fund and Chapel Studio is extremely proud to be carrying out the conservation work.

Chapel Studio will carry out extensive conservation and resetting to 16th and 18th painted glass throughout the house. The large nature of the project mean it will take 16 months to complete the project.
