The Middle Temple, Main Hall, 2002

A large conservation project we carried out to the west window in the main hall of the temple.

The original glass had been glued and stuck between front and back plates leaving the original glass to be housed in a poor environment causing the painted pigment and enamels to deteriorate.

We undertook the slow painstaking process of removal of the inappropriate plating and begun the conservation process of stabilisation and repair.
